Design

I should've said when I was playing with headers and buttons and what have you - the decor in here is only temporary. I wanted to see how things would be with more of Epic feel, and after your lovely comments yesterday I think sticking with Epic is the best way for me. It may well keep things a little quiet around here, but better a quiet corner of teh interwebs that I love, than a bustling one that feels dilute and watery.

So, much as I love mah dwarf up there, I'm edgy about keeping him as he's from a WoW Wallpaper and I have no idea how the copyright on such things works. I wanted to see if I could make a header and buttons with something cool though! As we speak, I'm purchasing my first ever image from the net! And I will make some blog graphics from it that will be in for the long haul :) Now that I've just about got my head around the very basics of Photoshop, I think it'll be pretty quick and easy. And it takes my mind off work so it's all good.

*Update - 'tis done! Absolutely nothing like I set out to do, but I fell in love with the little sword-wielding chappy. I figured childlike is apt, as my love of fantasy as a little 'un shaped me into who I am today. So, all done :) and all Copyright Happy. And now, to bed!

  1. That's adorable! That's one happy dragon too :) Again, I like the integration of the theme in the social media buttons too :) Nicely done.
